At Dunkirk we have established links with schools around the world. One in Lahore, Pakistan and one in Madrid, Spain. Dunkirk was granted a Comenius Award for 2010-2012 (see Past Projects). We successfully found partner schools to link with in Finland, Norway and Rome. The schools are Voksen Skole in Oslo, Norway; Rastaala School in Espoo, Finland and Il Circolo Didattico of Ciampino in Rome, Italy.
As a result of the success of the Comenius project we applied with Rastaala School for a new Erasmus+ grant.
Dunkirk has won the International School Award for the 4th consecutive time. This is as a result of amazing collaborations with a range of link schools across the world. Joint planning and teaching has been full of exciting and interesting projects which have linked closely to the schools curriculum.
At Dunkirk, the teachers and pupils decide together what they will study. There are two themes in an academic year. These themes always connect with our link school work.
