Mrs Alford, Mrs Qureshi, Ms Lisa and Ms Parmjit visited our link school in Rome. Ms Stefania and the rest of her team and school welcomed them and the other representatives from our link schools in Finland and Norway. The teachers went into classes and the Head Teachers and Coordinators met to discuss the project and the upcoming pupil camp in Finland.
The school was decorated with lots of work they had done on the two Big Questions, Why is Water Precious and Why are Trees Precious? The children recited a beautiful poem abot trees and sang a song they had learnt about trees too. We are going to try and learn the same song soon.
Ms Lisa and Ms Parmjit looked at a story about trees called 'The Man who Planted Trees', with one class over three days. They did some getting to know you games and did some yoga within the sessions. Then they investigated the story through drama and drawing.
