How do we create communities that are spiritually, emotionally and physically healthy?
Dunkirk Primary (U.K.) and Rastaala School (Finland) have managed to secure a two year grant from Erasmus+ to investigate this Big Question.
The grant is for 2017-2019.
The main outcome of the project is for us to develop aspects of a scheme of work for PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education) which focuses on
Acts of Kindness as a main driver for the activities. The Scheme of work will be developed over the two years after teachers from each school will visit their link class in their link school. They will collaborate with a link class for a term and develop and trial different activities linked to Acts of Kindness.
These will be documented and evaluated and will form part of the Scheme of Work in the future.
September 2019 UPDATE - the project is now complete and you can download the completed scheme of work below. The scheme of work is a collaboration between 24 teachers from 2 schools. We also give big thanks to our unofficial 3rd partner the Lahore Lyceum as several activities were also trialled there.
We are spreading kindness through our communities and also building awareness of this page through our facebook page. If you find one of our rocks please post it there @kindnessspreads
Why not also help us spread the kindness by painting some of your own rocks to spread the happiness and increase awareness of our page. Just add fb@kindnessspreads to the back of your rock so that people can find us!
