Norway visits Dunkirk
Three members of staff from Voksen School, Oslo in Norway visited Dunkirk in October 2013. They spent time with their partner classes (year 2, year 3 and year 4) exploring different aspects of the question "Why are trees precious?"
The teachers who came were Ms Inger-Johanne, Ms Evi and Ms Jannicke. They brought some lovely gifts and a book of Norwegian stories which the children at Dunkirk are really enjoying.
They went on a Tree Walk with Ms Claire and Maple, Cedar and Oak classes. They examined carefully the trees in our local environment and collected lots of things from around and near the trees to work with back in the classroom.
