The Finglistan News
Three countries, three schools, three newspapers - one world.
For the last couple of years the three linked schools, Dunkirk in UK, Rastaala in Finland and The Lahore Lyceum in Pakistan, have been participating in a collaborative activity to produce their own editions of The Finglistan Newspaper.
The schools decide on a date once a year when they will turn their classrooms into a busy newsroom. They look at a range of newspapers and internet news for that day and then decide on what stories they will write for their own paper. Each newspaper must include some international news, some national, some local, sport, weather etc. They have the day to produce and print the paper and then put up on this website.
The schools then read and compare each others papers, noting if any stories are the same and what interpretation they may have.
It's a fantastic way of connecting the schools, finding out about what's important to each other and looking at a range of issues from around the world.
We certainly have some budding journalists and writers.
