Dunkirk Teachers Visit The Lahore Lyceum
Part of Dunkirk's programme for international linking and embedding global dimensions into the whole school curriculum is to enable teachers and pupils where possible, in face to face contact with our friends and colleagues in our link schools.
In October 2017, Mrs Kristabel Beeley, Mrs Stacey Powell and Mrs Asima Qureshi went to Lahore to visit and work with Grade 5 in the Main Branch of The Lahore Lyceum School.
A number of challenges were tackled during the week. The first challenge was to plan, produce and direct an Acts of Kindness Lahore Lyceum Boomerang Film. This was something Dunkirk and Rastaala had already done. See Acts of Kindness pages to see all films.
Another challenge was to answer a Big Question that again all three link schools were puzzling over at the same time.

If you were in charge what is the one change you would make?
All the pupils at Dunkirk were thinking about this during the week and two Grade4 classes one at the Main Branch and one at the Samnabad Campus took on the challenge. Mrs Powell's class back at Dunkirk came up with the plan to end all bullying. The Grade 4 at The Lahore Lyceum finally voted for the ending of pollution and littering.
